relating to the establishment and posting of the maximum loads | ||
permitted on certain bridges. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 201.8035, Transportation Code, is | ||
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | ||
(c) The department may post a notice required under | ||
Subsection (b) for a bridge under the jurisdiction of a county or a | ||
municipality if the department is required or authorized under | ||
federal law to post the notice. The notice must be posted in | ||
accordance with federal law. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
