relating to the countywide polling place program. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 43.007, Election Code, is amended by | ||
adding Subsections (o) and (p) to read as follows: | ||
(o) Each countywide polling place must post a notice of the | ||
four nearest countywide polling place locations by driving | ||
distance. | ||
(p) If a court orders any countywide polling place to remain | ||
open after 7 p.m., all countywide polling places shall remain open | ||
for the length of time required in the court order. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
