| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 43.007, Election Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsections (o) and (p) to read as follows: | ||
| (o) Each countywide polling place must post a notice of the | ||
| four nearest countywide polling place locations by driving | ||
| distance. | ||
| (p) If a court orders any countywide polling place to remain | ||
| open after 7 p.m., all countywide polling places shall remain open | ||
| for the length of time required in the court order. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
