| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 11.159, Education Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | ||
| (f) The board of trustees may not adopt a policy that | ||
| requires, recommends, or encourages a trustee to attend training | ||
| offered by a specific provider. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
