A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to vaccines authorized under the adult safety net
  vaccination program.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 161.01035(b), Health and Safety Code, is
  amended to read as follows:
         (b)  The department shall ensure that eligible health care
  providers participating in the vaccines for children program or the
  adult safety net vaccination program may select any licensed
  vaccine, including combination vaccines and any dosage forms that:
               (1)  are recommended by the federal Advisory Committee
  on Immunization Practices; and
               (2)  are made available to the department by the
  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States
  Public Health Service[; and
               [(3)     for adult vaccines, are on the
  department-approved list of vaccines offered by the adult safety
  net vaccination program].
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
