relating to issuance of a vendor permit for the sale of goods during | ||
an event held in the Capitol Complex. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Subchapter F, Chapter 2165, Government Code, is | ||
amended by adding Section 2165.260 to read as follows: | ||
Sec. 2165.260. CAPITOL COMPLEX VENDOR PERMIT. (a) The | ||
commission, with the approval of the State Preservation Board, | ||
shall establish a process for a vendor to apply for and obtain from | ||
the commission a permit that allows the vendor to sell goods from a | ||
rented space during an event held in the Capitol Complex, as defined | ||
by Section 443.0071. | ||
(b) The commission is not required to adopt the rules | ||
required under Subsection (a) until the Capitol Complex master plan | ||
developed under Section 2166.105 is implemented and the Texas Mall | ||
proposed in the plan is established. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
