R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, James Mills has ably served his fellow Texans as an
  intern in the office of State Representative Valoree Swanson during
  the 87th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin,
  Mr. Mills has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety
  of challenging tasks since joining Representative Swanson's staff;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend James Mills for his service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Valoree
  Swanson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Mills as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
