WHEREAS, Everyone who works for a school has a part to play in | ||
giving children a better start in life, and those individuals who | ||
devote themselves to this vital endeavor are helping to ensure that | ||
the future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and | ||
WHEREAS, Gloria De Leon, a secretary in the federal programs | ||
department, brings to her duties the invaluable skills and | ||
experience she has gained over a career that has spanned 45 years; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse needs of tomorrow's | ||
leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and Ms. De Leon | ||
embodies the spirit of service that is an integral part of the | ||
educational mission of the Edinburg Consolidated Independent | ||
School District; and | ||
WHEREAS, Through her outstanding efforts, this caring | ||
individual has set an inspiring example of hard work and | ||
dedication, and she is indeed deserving of recognition; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby honor Gloria De Leon for her contributions to | ||
the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District and extend to | ||
her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. De Leon as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. |
