| WHEREAS, Zamured Yaser Aboob Alazzawi has been named the | ||
| salutatorian of the Class of 2021 at Liberty High School in Houston, | ||
| and she indeed merits special recognition for receiving this | ||
| significant honor; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; in securing her place as one of the two | ||
| top-ranking students in her class, Ms. Alazzawi demonstrated a | ||
| thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her | ||
| attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement | ||
| of a notable high school career; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, Ms. Alazzawi | ||
| has further distinguished herself through her participation in the | ||
| Optimist International Oratorical Contest and the Houston Urban | ||
| Debate League; she has also maintained a perfect record of | ||
| attendance; and | ||
| WHEREAS, During her years at Liberty High School, Zamured | ||
| Alazzawi has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers | ||
| and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and | ||
| commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and | ||
| promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Zamured Yaser Aboob Alazzawi on | ||
| graduating as salutatorian of the Liberty High School Class of 2021 | ||
| and extend to her sincere best wishes for success as she begins the | ||
| next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Alazzawi as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
