| WHEREAS, John Greer has served with distinction as Republican | ||
| Party precinct chair of Precinct 2 in Collin County; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Integral to the success of their party's mission, | ||
| precinct chairs work to elect public servants who will build a | ||
| better state and nation for current and future generations; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Greer has devoted much time and energy to | ||
| providing valuable information to prospective voters, to | ||
| encouraging residents to turn out for elections, and to conducting | ||
| important party business, and in so doing, has made lasting | ||
| contributions to Collin County; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, | ||
| citizens must exercise their right to vote, and the efforts of | ||
| precinct chairs to inspire voters to support their parties' | ||
| candidates are part of a proud and vital American tradition; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend John Greer for | ||
| serving as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 2 in Collin | ||
| County and extend to this dedicated community leader sincere best | ||
| wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Greer as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
