R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The cast and crew of Lorena Middle School's
  production of Miss Electricity have won the 2013 University
  Interscholastic League District 17-3A Junior High One-Act Play
  contest; and
         WHEREAS, Overseen by director Deborah Peevey, the Lorena
  Middle School ensemble was recognized in several additional
  categories as well; Koby Kirk and Bradyn Braziel were selected as
  best actor and actress, and Hunter Chaudoin and Hayley Anderson
  received Gold Star Awards and were named to the All-Star Cast; and
         WHEREAS, Other members of the Lorena ensemble who contributed
  to the winning performance were Ryan Kirby, Marissa Feller, Megan
  McClung, Ecclesia Valesco, Ansley Roberts, Sloane Baker, Kimi
  Smith, Hunter Isham, Justice Floyd, and McKlynn Sanders; and
         WHEREAS, Through their talent and hard work, the members of
  the Lorena Middle School One-Act Play ensemble have brought great
  credit to their school and community, and they are indeed deserving
  of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the cast and crew of Lorena Middle
  School's Miss Electricity on winning the 2013 UIL District 17-3A
  Junior High One-Act Play competition and extend to them sincere
  best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the ensemble as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
