R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Since opening in 2009, Harmony School of Innovation
  in Carrollton has earned a reputation for excellence; and
         WHEREAS, Currently offering classes from kindergarten
  through the ninth grade, Harmony School of Innovation provides
  students with character education and leadership development, as
  well as courses that lay the foundation for admission to college;
  math, science, and technology are emphasized in the curriculum, and
  the classroom experience is enhanced by such extracurricular
  activities as Robotics, Science Olympiad, MATHCOUNTS, and Advanced
  Science Fair; and
         WHEREAS, The school encourages students to participate
  beyond the classroom and parents to become actively involved in
  their child's education, and it has earned an Exemplary rating from
  the Texas Education Agency; and
         WHEREAS, Thanks to inspiring and dedicated teachers and an
  atmosphere that encourages both discipline and creative thinking,
  the students of the Harmony School of Innovation are receiving a
  strong educational foundation on which to build; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the Harmony School of Innovation in
  Carrollton for its achievements and extend to its students and
  faculty sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
