R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Akash Joseph has been named valedictorian of the
  Class of 2023 at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, and he indeed
  merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor;
  and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; in securing his place as the
  top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Joseph demonstrated a
  thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his
  attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement
  of a notable high school career; and
         WHEREAS, Following graduation, Mr. Joseph plans to attend The
  University of Texas at Austin, where he will major in electrical and
  computer engineering; and
         WHEREAS, During his years at Seven Lakes High School, Akash
  Joseph has earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers
  and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and
  commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
  promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Akash Joseph on graduating as
  valedictorian of the Seven Lakes High School Class of 2023 and
  extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins
  the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Joseph as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
