WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
recognize Sarita G. Jimenez, who has been selected for induction | ||
into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame for her outstanding | ||
work in the field of agriculture and ranching; and | ||
WHEREAS, The San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame honors those | ||
women who have contributed significantly to the San Antonio | ||
community and the Bexar County region through their | ||
accomplishments in their profession or field of service; and | ||
WHEREAS, A retired teacher, Sarita Jimenez is a | ||
self-employed rancher in Floresville, where she is known in the | ||
community for her dedication to her work and for her knowledge | ||
and skill; and | ||
WHEREAS, In addition to helping young people to become | ||
educated in mathematics and science, she has faced the challenges | ||
of an altogether different type of profession, and she has | ||
succeeded in excelling as a rancher and a businesswoman; and | ||
WHEREAS, Sarita Jimenez is highly respected for her | ||
successful endeavors in agriculture and ranching, and her | ||
accomplishments serve as an inspiration to women across our | ||
state; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd | ||
Legislature, hereby commend Sarita Jimenez for her exceptional | ||
achievements and extend congratulations to her on her induction | ||
into the San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
