| Yancie J. Tolbert II | ||
| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the | ||
| citizens of Baytown in mourning the loss of Yancie J. Tolbert II, | ||
| who died May 17, 2013, at the age of 34; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Yancie Tolbert was an exemplary gentleman who | ||
| never met a stranger and was beloved by all who knew him; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Yancie was born August 20, 1978, in Tucson, | ||
| Arizona; he grew up in Colstrip, Montana, and moved to Texas in | ||
| 1998; he was married to his wife, Tiffany, for 13 years, and the | ||
| couple was blessed with two children, Tommy and Cameron; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He was a great conversationalist, and he took much | ||
| pleasure in spending time with his friends and family; he was an | ||
| avid motorcyclist and a fan of mixed martial arts, football, | ||
| music, and movies; devoted to his family, he loved coaching his | ||
| son's sports teams and talking with his young daughter; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he | ||
| gave unselfishly to others, and his charismatic personality, his | ||
| devotion to his extended family, and his enthusiasm for living | ||
| each day to the fullest will not be forgotten; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Yancie Tolbert was a source of strength and joy to | ||
| those who were privileged to share in his life, and he leaves | ||
| behind memories that will be treasured forever by his family and | ||
| countless friends; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd | ||
| Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby extend sincere | ||
| condolences to the bereaved family of Yancie J. Tolbert II; and, | ||
| be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas | ||
| Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in | ||
| memory of Yancie Tolbert. | ||
