Summary
Requires certification, to the Department of Defense and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, by the military departments of whether housing for military personnel complies with requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act regarding lead-based paint hazards at federal facilities. Political appointees in military departments that have failed to meet the certification requirements may not receive bonus pay.
Title
To direct the Secretaries of the military departments to submit certification and a report each year to the Secretaries of Defense and Housing and Urban Development regarding whether housing under the jurisdiction of the Secretaries of the military departments is in compliance with requirements relating to lead-based paint.
