Summary
Altamont Corridor Rail Improvement Act of 2014 - Authorizes the Secretary of Transportation (DOT) to make allocations for capital investment grants for FY2015-FY2024 for any remaining preliminary engineering and final design and construction of the Altamont Corridor Rail Project (California). Allows for the use of any alternative analysis or environmental impact report relating the Project to satisfy Federal Railroad Administration capital assistance requirements for new fixed guideway capital projects.
