Summary

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide for a temporary moratorium on the medical device excise tax. This bill amends the Internal Revenue Code to extend through 2022 the moratorium on the excise tax on the sale of certain medical devices. (Under current law, the moratorium applies to sales during the period beginning on January 1, 2016, and ending on December 31, 2017.)
