Summary
Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives in support of considering legislation that would reinforce the goals of the working families agenda. Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that a working families agenda is established to: raise the minimum wage, strengthen workers' right to organize, and protect workers from misclassification; provide workers with paid sick days, paid family leave, flexible and stable schedules, access to high-quality early learning opportunities, and affordable child care; and strengthen the law guaranteeing equal pay for equal work, ensure specified rights for pregnant workers, and ensure workers have explicit protections from discrimination based on their sexual orientation and gender identity. Declares the sense of the House furthermore that hearings and votes should be held on specified House bills, including H.B. 2150, the Raise the Wage Act, and H.B. 1439, the Family and Medical Insurance Leave Act (FAMILY Act).
