Summary
Employment of persons 18 years of age or older but under 21 years of age in a sexually oriented business prohibited; penalty. Makes it a Class 4 misdemeanor for any person to employ a person 18 years of age or older but under 21 years of age in, or to permit or suffer a person 18 years of age or older but under 21 years of age to be employed or work in, a sexually oriented business, as defined in the bill. The bill also makes it a Class 4 misdemeanor for any person 18 years of age or older but under 21 years of age to be an employee or a performer in, or to work in, a sexually oriented business. The bill requires the Alcohol Beverage Control Authority to suspend or revoke the license of a mixed beverage licensee if the licensee commits or permits two or more violations of such prohibition in the licensed establishment. The bill has a delayed effective date of July 1, 2022.
