Presumption of death; confessions or convictions of murder. Provides that any person who is a resident of the Commonwealth shall be presumed dead if such person has disappeared, his body has not been found, he is not known to be alive, and an individual has confessed to such person's murder under oath or has been convicted of such murder. The bill further exempts such persons from the notice and hearing requirements otherwise required for the court to enter an order determining that the presumed decedent is in fact dead.
