Summary

Prescription medications; schools for students with disabilities. Allows a person in a licensed school for students with disabilities or a licensed private children’s residential facility to administer prescription medication to a student if the person (i) has satisfactorily completed a training program for this purpose approved by the Board of Nursing; (ii) administers such drugs in accordance with the physician’s instructions pertaining to dosage, frequency, and manner of administration; and (iii) complies with regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy relating to security and record keeping.
