A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 19.2-130.1, relating to bail terms set by court in capias.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 19.2-130.1 as follows:

§19.2-130.1. Bail terms set by court on a capias to be honored by magistrate.

A magistrate who is to set the terms of bail of a person arrested and brought before him pursuant to § 19.2-234 shall do so in accordance with the order of the court that issued the capias, if such an order is affixed to or made a part of the capias by the court.
