Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 53.1-140.1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 53.1-140.1. Department to provide services.
A. The Department shall ensure that educational, vocational, counseling, substance abuse, rehabilitative, and reentry services are available at all probation and parole offices.
B. The Department shall work with the Department of Workforce Development and Advancement to provide post-release job search assistance services to assist individuals in finding employment upon release from incarceration and refer such individuals to case management services where eligible.
