A BILL requiring the Board of Education to adopt regulations allowing all students to retake Standards of Learning tests and take such tests at any time during the school year.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  §1. That the Board of Education shall adopt regulations allowing all students to whom the Standards of Learning tests are administered to be permitted to retake the test if the student does not achieve a passing score. Additionally, such regulations shall provide that, at the discretion of his teacher, a student may take the Standards of Learning test at any time during the school year.
