A BILL to require the Board of Education to amend its regulations establishing Standards for Accrediting Public Schools in Virginia as they relate to homebound instructional services.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  §1. That the Board of Education shall amend its regulations establishing Standards of Accrediting Public Schools in Virginia as they relate to homebound instructional services to include that homebound instruction shall be made available to students who are confined at home, or in a health care facility, for periods that would prevent normal school attendance based upon certification of need by a licensed clinical social worker.
