Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 14.1 of Title 22.1 a section numbered 22.1-289.08:2 as follows:

§22.1-289.08:2. Child Care Subsidy Program; categorical eligibility for certain families.

[ Notwithstanding any other provision of law or regulation to the contrary, any Any ] family that receives public assistance through Medicaid or the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children shall be deemed [ to ] categorically [ eligible satisfy income eligibility requirements ] to receive assistance through the Child Care Subsidy Program.
