A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 1 of
Chapter 14.1 of Title 22.1 a section numbered 22.1-289.08:2, relating to Child Care
Subsidy Program vendors; basis for periodic reimbursement.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 14.1 of Title 22.1 a section numbered 22.1-289.08:2 as follows:
§22.1-289.08:2. Child Care Subsidy Program vendors; basis for periodic reimbursement.
The Department shall periodically reimburse child care providers that are vendors through the Child Care Subsidy Program on the basis of authorized child enrollment. However, if any such enrolled child is absent from the provider for 10 or more days during one month, the Department shall periodically reimburse such provider on the basis of such child's attendance.
