Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 24.2-947.4:2 as follows:

§24.2-947.4:2. Prohibited contributions to candidates.

No candidate or candidate campaign committee shall solicit or accept a contribution from any public service corporation, as defined in §56-1, or any political action committee established and administered by such a corporation.
