Commending Felicia Williams.

WHEREAS, in 2024, Felicia Williams, an active member of the Hampton community, marks her 10th anniversary as a property manager with Drucker + Falk, LLC; and

WHEREAS, Felicia Williams studied pre-medicine at North Carolina State University; she also studied business administration and management at Fayetteville State University; and

WHEREAS, Felicia Williams worked for CarMax in Charleston for nearly 13 years before joining Drucker + Falk in Hampton as a property manager in 2014; and

WHEREAS, in her role as property manager at Drucker + Falk, Felicia Williams ably oversees a number of responsibilities and tasks, including general administration and maintenance and the management of personnel and resources; and

WHEREAS, through her professionalism and commitment to the residents that she serves, Felicia Williams has helped to ensure that Drucker + Falk's properties are both in good physical condition and operated in a fiscally sound manner; and

WHEREAS, as a testament to Felicia Williams' achievements as a property manager, one of the properties she manages, Buckroe Point Apartment Townhomes in Hampton, received an award for best housing preservation and revitalization project in 2017; and

WHEREAS, Felicia Williams has worked tirelessly to develop a plethora of activities to keep the young people in her community engaged, including a summer academic program; and

WHEREAS, with great compassion and concern for her residents, Felicia Williams has supported a number of families by sending flowers and encouragement during their period of bereavement; and

WHEREAS, when her residents were struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic, Felicia Williams went the extra mile by helping many of them acquire rental assistance so that they could stay in their homes; and

WHEREAS, Felicia Williams has been a generous mentor to the members of her team, inspiring many of them to pursue careers as property managers; and

WHEREAS, through her leadership and caring nature, Felicia Williams has successfully fostered a sense of community at Drucker + Falk's properties, helping to make Hampton a more wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Felicia Williams hereby be commended for her accomplishments over her 10 years with Drucker + Falk, LLC; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Felicia Williams as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her contributions to Hampton and the Commonwealth.
