Summary
The purpose of this bill is to include consumer credit sales that are secured by a mortgage, deed of trust or other security interest on a dwelling or residential real estate in the definitions of "primary mortgage loan" and "subordinate mortgage loan";and to extend the prohibition on loans greater than one hundred percent LTV for loan modifications done through government programs to coincide with the termination of the government funded programs and apply the same exception to loans with balloon payments.
