Summary
The purpose of this bill is to prohibit "straw purchases" of firearms in which a person ineligible under federal law to purchase or possess a firearm attempts to purchase a firearm from a firearm dealer through a third party who is not ineligible. This bill also conforms certain definitions to federal law.
