Summary

The purpose of this bill is to provide greater flexibility for county school boards to meet the requirement that there be one hundred eighty instructional days in the annual school calendar. The bill also requires that county boards create an icy conditions and emergencies plan designed to guarantee an instructional term for students of no less than one hundred eighty separate instructional days.
