Summary
The purpose of this bill is to allow the Commissioner of Corrections to place any interest or other sum of money (less than $10) which would have been credited to an inmate's account into the inmate benefit fund. The bill would also allow the inmate benefit fund to be used for restitution of any negative balance on an inmate's trustee account.
