Summary

The purpose of this bill is to prohibit actions for damages or attorney's fees under Shamblin v. Nationwide Mut. Ins. Co., 183 W. Va. 585 (1990) against the Board of Risk and Insurance Management or any person employed by the board or any entity with which the board has contracted to administer the board's programs; and to make the amendments retrospective to all pending claims and actions.
