Summary

The purpose of this bill is to create the West Virginia Pool Safety Act. The bill states it's purpose to enhance the safety of private swimming pools and prevent child drownings. The bill also defines terms. The bill establishes required safety features and building requirements for private swimming pools. The bill sets forth requirements for the Bureau for Public Health and for it to seek available federal grants. The bill also provides exemptions.
