AN ACT

 

amending title 28, chapter 25, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28‑8429; relating to airports.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 28, chapter 25, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-8429, to read:

START_STATUTE28-8429.  Airport security screening

Beginning January 1, 2012:

1.  The governing body of each airport located in this state shall contract with a private person for all airport security screening.

2.  An airport in this state may not use the transportation security administration for airport security screening.END_STATUTE
