A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Arizona; Amending Article IX, section 10, Constitution of Arizona; relating to taxation.

Be it resolved by the Senate of the State of Arizona, the House of Representatives concurring:
1. Article IX, section 10, Constitution of Arizona, is proposed to be amended as follows if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor:
10. Aid of church, private or sectarian school, or public service corporation; exception
Section 10. A. Except as provided in subsection B of this section, no tax shall be laid or appropriation of public money made in aid of any church, or any private or sectarian school, or any public service corporation.
B. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the legislature by law may allow property owners in this state to allocate the amount of school district property taxes levied and assessed against the property owner's primary residence to a private school in this state.
2. The Secretary of State shall submit this proposition to the voters at the next general election as provided by article XXI, Constitution of Arizona.
