An act to amend Section 40506 of the Public Resources Code, relating to solid waste.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 1371, as introduced, Friedman. Waste management.

The California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989 authorizes the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery to accept grants, gifts, and donations for the purposes of the act.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

 Section 40506 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:

40506.

 The board department may accept grants, gifts gifts, and donations for the purposes specified in this division.
