An act to amend Section 669 of the Civil Code, relating to property.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 591, as introduced, Galgiani. Property.
Existing law defines property and relates its ownership. Existing law provides that all property has an owner, and that ownership is either in the state, and the property public, or in the hands of an individual, and the property private. Existing law also provides that the state may hold property as a private proprietor.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 669 of the Civil Code is amended to read:

669.
 All property has an owner, whether that owner is the State, state, and the property public, or the owner an individual, and the property private. The State state may also hold property as a private proprietor.
