AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCOME TAXATION OF SOCIAL SECURITY AND THE ELIMINATION OF THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt Social Security from the personal income tax and eliminate the earned income tax credit.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt Social Security from the personal income tax and to eliminate the earned income tax credit.
