AN ACT LIMITING GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ALLOCATIONS AND ISSUANCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to limit (1) the allocation of general obligation bonds to not more than two billion dollars in any calendar year, and (2) the issuance of general obligation bonds to not more than two billion dollars in any fiscal year.

Statement of Purpose:

To limit the state's bond indebtedness.
