AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 28 OF THE |
Section 1.Amend Chapter 1, Title 28 of the Delaware Code by adding a new Subchapter VIII to read as follows:
"Subchapter VIII. Special Requirements
§116. Use of fire, police, paramedic, or emergency medical services.
If during any boxing, mixed martial arts, or combative sports entertainment event, in which a license or permit is required pursuant to this chapter, the services of any fire company, police agency, paramedic, and/or emergency medical services provider are used for any participant of such event then the licensee, permit holder, and/or promoter of such event shall be responsible for and shall pay the costs of the services provided by the fire company, police agency, paramedic, and/or emergency medical services provider.".
SYNOPSIS
This bill requires the licensee, permit holder, and/or promoter of a boxing, mixed martial arts, or combative sports entertainment event, in which a license or permit is required, to be responsible for the costs of police, fire, paramedic, and/or emergency medical services used for a participant during such event. |
