Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 24 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to insurance generally, so as to provide that the state, and any political subdivision thereof, and any public retirement system has an insurable interest in any individual who is an employee of the state or political subdivision and in any individual who is a retired employee and a member of a public retirement system in certain circumstances; to provide that an employee or returned employee may void such insurance as to such employee or retired employee under certain circumstances; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
