A RESOLUTION


Commending Mr. Joseph Ressler on his service as a legislative aide; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Honorable Bubber Epps has been very fortunate to have had the exceptional service of Mr. Joseph Ressler, whose work as a legislative aide has been marked by his devotion to helping citizens and his constant commitment to the highest standards of excellence; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Ressler has provided superior support while working for a member of the House of Representatives, proving himself to be professional, efficient, and dependable, and he has exceeded the standard of service, willing to provide any type of assistance that is needed; and

WHEREAS, as a senior at Emory University, Mr. Ressler will graduate in May, 2009, with a bachelor's degree in sociology and economics; and

WHEREAS, during his years at Emory University, Mr. Ressler has garnered valuable work experience as a research assistant, a resident advisor, an administrative assistant, and a telemarketing representative; and

WHEREAS, his past work experiences have proven to be important assets during his time at the capitol, as he demonstrated great skill in multitasking, communicating effectively, and an exceptional ability to remain poised under pressure; and

WHEREAS, his devotion to uplifting his community and the lives of others is evidenced by his work with the Emory Hillel Canned Food Drive and Project New Orleans Relief; and

WHEREAS, his hard work and dedication have been enormous assets to the citizens of Georgia, and all the members of the General Assembly greatly appreciate the invaluable service of aides such as Mr. Ressler who enable their business to run smoothly and successfully.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body join to commend Mr. Joseph Ressler on his outstanding service as a legislative aide and extend to him their best wishes for the greatest success and happiness in all his future endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Joseph Ressler.
