Summary

Stipulates that when a public employee retires or otherwise leaves employment and is the subject of criminal charges, allegations of misconduct or improper behavior or actions, or a federal criminal investigation, any financial settlement shall not exceed an amount equal to the lesser of the employee's annual salary or $50,000 under certain circumstances.
