| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2547 as follows:

| 3 | on page 10, by replacing lines 12 through 18 with the | ||||||
| 4 | following:
| ||||||
| 5 | "Section 60. Attorney General; powers. The Attorney | ||||||
| 6 | General, pursuant to the authority under Section 6.3 of the | ||||||
| 7 | Attorney General Act, may initiate or intervene in a civil | ||||||
| 8 | action in the name of the People of the State in any circuit | ||||||
| 9 | court to obtain all appropriate relief, including, but not | ||||||
| 10 | limited to, a civil penalty under Section 10 of $100 per pay | ||||||
| 11 | period for every pay period the employee worked before the | ||||||
| 12 | employer disclosed the quota.".
