Summary

Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes. In the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act, the Life Care Facilities Act, the Nursing Home Care Act, the MC/DD Act, and the ID/DD Community Care Act, removes provisions requiring that establishments or facilities licensed under the Acts post on the home page of the licensed establishment's or facility's website the following statement: "The Illinois Long Term Care Ombudsman Program is a free resident advocacy service available to the public.". Provides that an establishment or a facility is not required to comply with the requirement to post the required information in instances where the parent company operates in multiple states and the establishment or facility does not maintain a unique website. Effective January 1, 2024.
