Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Prohibits any person or business from selling or offering to sell any cleaning product that contains triclosan and is used by consumers for sanitizing or hand or body cleansing. Provides that this prohibition does not apply to individual products for which specific United States Food and Drug Administration approval for consumer use has been secured. Provides that each violation of this prohibition is a business offense with a fine of $10,000.
