Bill Title: Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Provides that, notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a county with a population of less than 3,000,000 does not have to comply with the changes made by Public Act 100-1 (the Bail Reform Act of 2017) and the pretrial release provisions of Public Acts 101-652 and 102-28 if the county board adopts a resolution for that purpose on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act. Effective immediately.
