2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of William T. "Ted" Babicki, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on December 29, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, William Babicki served in the United States Army | ||||||
6 | during World War II in France and Germany; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, William Babicki was a lifetime member of Knights | ||||||
8 | of Columbus Joliet Council 382 and Veterans of Foreign Wars | ||||||
9 | Cantigny Post 367; he was also a member of American Legion | ||||||
10 | Harwood Post 5 and Joliet Moose Lodge 300; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, William Babicki was preceded in death by his wife, | ||||||
12 | Helen (nee Kolenc); his parents, Theodore and Ida (nee Kapala) | ||||||
13 | Babicki; his brothers, Leonard, Stanley, Bernard (Stella), and | ||||||
14 | Edward (Fran) Babicki; and his sister, Florence (Walter) Bump; | ||||||
15 | and

16 | WHEREAS, William Babicki is survived by his sons, Raymond | ||||||
17 | and Thomas (Jeanette) Babicki; his grandson, Joel Ryan Babicki; | ||||||
18 | and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
